Singapore’s Transport Minister S. Iswaran has resigned from the government and parliament, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Monday, AFP reported. The cabinet minister has been charged with 27 counts in a rare high-level corruption investigation.
Lee Hsien Loong said Mr Yi had tendered his resignation on January 16 after receiving formal notice of the allegations against him.
