It is reported that this is the third aircraft introduced by China Eastern in Wuhan in six months.
The company’s fleet size reaches 35 aircraft. In addition, China Eastern Airlines Wuhan also plans to add direct flights to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi and other international routes to ensure the entry and exit needs of passengers.
According to reports, the weekly flight operation of China Eastern Airlines in Han reached 1,196 flights, an increase of 40.38% and 13.26% compared with the same period in 2019 and 2023, respectively. The growth rate of China Eastern Airlines was higher than that of the whole market in Wuhan, and the existing route network was optimized and adjusted, providing more than 94,800 seats per week. Make every effort to meet the travel needs of Wuhan tourists in summer and autumn.
In terms of international and regional routes, affected by the gradual expansion of visa-free travel in China and the gradual increase in inbound and outbound passenger demand, China Eastern Airlines has increased capacity investment in popular destinations in Southeast Asia on the basis of the continuation of advantageous routes such as Wuhan-Sydney and Tokyo in the last flight season, and plans to add Wuhan-Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hanoi, and expand Wuhan-Bangkok to one flight every day.
